I am truely sorry to read this, I don't check it that often but I have a great memory of Patty from 7th grade.

She was always really happy, dramatic, and pretty. In science class the teacher was teaching us a lesson on blood pressure and we had to turn around and be partners w/ the person behind us. She sat in front of me and turned around laughing and looking a little unsure about beiing my partner. I, on the other hand, couldn't breathe b/c everyone was in love w/ her and she was way outta my league. So we had to hold hands and put pressure on the wrist area to count the beats. I was so excited I couldn't count them and I had trouble just talking. I think she was the first girl I ever held hands with and she knew I was flustered. She never lelt me forgeet that and we remained great friends throughout high school. .

What a great story Jerry.  I didn't know Patty well in Jr High.  But when we moved to Windcrest Acres (a subdivision off of S. Seminary) my Sophomore year, we rode the same bus since she lived at Lake Bracken.  Her Dad, John, was our bus driver and we had lots of fun on that bus every day.

I did not know Particia well, and that is my loss.  We went to Lombard and GHS at the same times.  I send my condolences to her family, and I am very sorry we have lost another class mate.  Her married sir name caught my eye as my wife Olivia(Libby) was a Strawn, though, from Virginia and not Oklahoma.  My you rest in Peace my friend/class mate.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Patricia Kendall Strawn.  She was a so kind and a lot of fun to be with.  I knew her in Lombard and can still see her in her majorette skirt and sweater.  She was amazing and did our school proud.  I know her family and friends will miss her dearly.  May God rest her soul.

I remember Patty and being in majorettes with her at Lombard, but the most memorable would be the great hay rack rides/party that she would put on....and then the dance at some hall (in Wataga?) Great fun!!!
